PATRICIA (TRICIA) SUTLIVE RICHARDSON, RN, LMT began working in health care in Savannah in the late 1980’s as a registered nurse in behavioral medicine. In the mid 1990s, she began the study and practice of Qigong, initially with a Chinese master visiting Savannah on a one-year visa. This orientation led to further studies in complementary/Eastern medicine practices, including training in 2007 with Jon Kabat-Zinn, MD, the founder of the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts. In 2009, Patricia graduated from the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy with a new focus in integrative medicine. In 2015, she was certified as teacher of Medical Qigong (CMQ). through the Lotus Health Institute in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Patricia currently works with the community-building non-profit Mixed Greens, a part of the Real Communities, a statewide project of Georgia Council for Developmental Disability, and offers wellness services through her private practice, the Art of Self-Care.
